What is an Internship Diary?
An internship diary is a record of daily activities for the trainees who have been doing a professional course in particular fields like B. Ed, Engineering, law, NGO, etc.
The different professional courses provide internship programs. The trainees or the students have to prepare their internship diaries like Internship Diary for law students, advocate internship diary, internship diary for the engineering students, etc. All the students who have been doing these courses have to write their daily internship diaries.
The professional course provides 4 months internship program for the students or trainees. During the period the students or the trainees have to observe the activities of the place where they have been engaged for their internship program. In this period they observe the activities of the associated people of the institution and their own activities. All the records of their activities have to be recorded in the daily fairy. This is called the internship Diary.
How do you write an internship diary?
There are some rules and regulations for writing an internship diary. You have to maintain the formality of writing it. First of all, you have to mention the place where have been engaged for your internship. Secondly, write the date, month, and year of the program. Thirdly, mention your day on the left side of your diary page.
Then write the day's activities in your diary. While writing the activities maintain the timetable of your activities. Like 9.00 am to 9.30 am, 9.30 am to 10.00 am, 10.00 am to 11 am, 11.00 am to 12 noon, 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm, 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm, 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm, etc.
How do you write a teacher's daily diary?
A sample of writing an internship diary has been provided. If you are a student of B. Ed or a trainee then you can maintain your teacher daily diary in the following manner:-

Activities-
9.15 am - I arrived at the school, put my signature, and entered the time of arrival in the teacher register.
9.15 am to 9.30 am- It's time for Morning Assembly. I joined it. It is held in front of the teachers' common room. At the Assembly the students did the usual activities like the singing of the national anthem by all the students and teachers, doing yoga, Oath talking, telling of hot news of the day, etc. The headmaster of the school announced that the school week will be held from 17th August/2022 to 22nd August/2022.
9.30 am to 10.15 am:- Time for the first period. I took my English class in class 10.
10.15 am to 11.00 am:- Time for the second period. The other teachers took their respective classes and checked the homework of the students.
11.00 am to 11.45 am:- Time for the third period and I took my Social Science Class in class 9.
11.45 am to 12. 30:- Time for 4th period and took my Assamese class in class 8. The other teacher also took their respective classes.
12.30 am to 1.00 pm-The time for Break and Midday Meal. I took had a cup of tea in our school canteen.
1.00 pm to 1.40 pm-The time for the 5th period. I didn't have any class so I was preparing a lesson plan for the next class.
1.40 pm to 2.20 pm- The time for the 6th period. I took my Social Science Class in class 7.
2.20 pm to 3.00 pm - The time for the last class of the day. I checked the scripts of the students.
3.00 pm-The School was over and I put my signature and entered the departure time in the teacher attendance. I left for the house.
