1. (a) What is meant by the environment? Describe the different types of environment.          4+8=12

Or

(b) What is meant by environmental disaster? Explain natural and man-made disasters.      2+10=12

2. (a) Enumerate the Scope of environmental education. How would you create environmental awareness as a student trainee among high students during your school internship programme?                                                                                                                                                               6+6=12

(b)"Population explosion in a country like India leads to the unemployment problem." Justify your answer.                                                                                                                                        12

Explain the concept, need and importance of guidance in the view of this statement.                                                                                                                                                 4+3+3=10

(b) What are the purpose and functions of educational guidance? Describe how a teacher and counsellor can combine their efforts to help students to solve their problems at different educational levels.                                                                                                                                   5+5=10

2. (a How can counselling establish a relationship between two individuals? Write a note on the qualities of an ideal counsellor.                                                                                            3+7=10

(b)"Counselling reciprocal relationship between two purposeful people in which one trained person helps the other to change himself or his environment. Discuss the nature, scope and importance of

1. (a) Define physical education. What are the contents included in the physical education curriculum at the secondary level?                                                                                                   4+8 =12

2. (a) Prepare a chart of physical education activities with special reference to play-field,

1. (a) Discuss the need and importance of teacher education programmes. Elaborate on how the teacher education programmes developed in India during the British period.                                  7+8=15

(b) Analyze the problems of pre-service teacher education programmes of your State. Suggest some remedial measures to solve these problems.                                                                                15

2. (a) Elaborate on the concept of in-service teacher education. Discuss the role of distance education in spreading in-service teacher education programmes.                                                          5+10=15

2. (a)Education is a Fundamental Right to Illustrate your answer with special reference to the Right to Education Act, 2009.                                                                                                          7+8=15

(b) The Human Rights Protection Act is the constitutional safeguard for Successful implementation of Human Rights." Explain.
